{"id":688,"date":"2016-08-04T15:19:21","date_gmt":"2016-08-04T20:19:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/makecoolthings.com\/?p=688"},"modified":"2016-08-04T15:19:21","modified_gmt":"2016-08-04T20:19:21","slug":"we-interrupt-your-regularly-scheduled-silence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/makecoolthings.com\/?p=688","title":{"rendered":"We interrupt your regularly scheduled silence&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So I&#8217;ve had a lot on my plate these last couple of months, a lot of irons in the fire, a lot of balls in the air, <em>[insert additional metaphors here]<\/em>&#8230; \u00a0And of course, my finances being what they are, it&#8217;s slow-going acquiring the tools and materials that I need&#8230;but things are starting to come together. \u00a0I&#8217;ve got a series of blog posts that I&#8217;m putting the finishing touches on, about undertakings\u00a0that are finally coming to fruition, or projects\u00a0that can finally begin, all of which are very exciting.<\/p>\n<p>For now, I&#8217;ll give you the quick hits:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A feature on prop making, which will involve the 3D printing, post-processing, painting, and weathering, of a Fallout 4 prop.<\/li>\n<li>Tutorials on cleaning up and post-processing 3D prints, and possibly on tuning printers for the best output.
